Grievance Redressal Mechanism

The college has a Grievance Redresssal Cell to resolve the complaints of its stakeholders. The students can approach the cell to file their grievances regarding academic matters health services, library and other services. They can report their grievances to the Principal through email or put the note in the Suggestion box placed at Administrative Block.

Objectives:

  • To accelerate positive attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious atmosphere in the institute
  • To create strife free atmosphere in the college promoting cordial relationship among the students and the teachers
  • To encourage students to voice their grievances
  • To improve academics and administration by the suggestions of the students
  • To encourage students to respect the right and dignity of one another
  • To inculcate the value of discipline and to be disciplined in the mind of the students.

Scope:

Grievance Redresssal Cell will deal with the grievances received from the stakeholders about any of the following matters.

  1. Academic Matters such as issue of duplicate Mark-sheets, Transfer Certificates, Conduct Certificates or other examination related matters.
  2. Financial Matters such as dues and payments for various items from library, hostels etc.
  3. Other Matters such as conditions of sanitation, food quality, availability of transport, victimization by teachers etc.

Functions:

  1. The committee will deal with the grievances received from the students in stipulated time.
  2. All the complaints will be resolved as per the policy of the Management.
  3. The Grievance Redressal Cell will report to the authority regarding status of the issues received in terms of resolved and pending number of cases.

Procedure for lodging complaint:

  • The students may feel free to put up a grievance in writing and drop it in boxes placed in the Administrative Wing.
  • Students may send email to the Principal regarding their grievances.
  • Students will have to submit complaint/ grievance along with necessary documents.
  • The Grievance Cell will ensure that the received complaints have been properly solved.
